Past Tenses

一般过去时和过去进行时的用法。

一般过去时用于已完成的过去动作：

The company *launched* the product last year.

过去进行时（was/were + -ing）用于过去某一时刻正在进行的动作：

They *were discussing* the proposal when the CEO arrived.

注意不规则动词的过去式形式。

Examples

• The company had already relocated before the announcement was made. — 발표가 나기 전에 회사는 이미 이전했었다.
