Thức giả định sau suggest, recommend, insist, request — ngữ pháp TOEFL nâng cao.

Thức giả định: Dùng động từ nguyên mẫu sau các động từ đề nghị/yêu cầu.

  • The manager suggested that she attend the meeting. (không phải attends)

    • (Quản lý đề nghị cô ấy tham dự cuộc họp.)

  • It is essential that the report be submitted on time. (không phải is)

    • (Báo cáo cần phải được nộp đúng hạn.)

  • They recommended that he apply for the position. (không phải applies)

    • (Họ đề nghị anh ấy nộp đơn cho vị trí đó.)

    Động từ kích hoạt: suggest, recommend, insist, demand, require, request, propose

    Tính từ kích hoạt: essential, important, necessary, vital, crucial

    Cấu trúc: that + chủ ngữ + động từ nguyên mẫu (không -s, không "should")

    After "suggest/recommend/insist that...", always use the base form of the verb!
