อนุประโยควิเศษณ์ขยายกริยา คำคุณศัพท์ หรือคำวิเศษณ์อื่น ตอบคำถามว่าเมื่อไหร่ ทำไม อย่างไร หรือภายใต้เงื่อนไขใด

เวลา: when, while, before, after, until, as soon as, once

*Once* the contract is signed, production will begin. (เมื่อเซ็นสัญญาแล้ว การผลิตจะเริ่ม)

เหตุผล: because, since, as, now that

*Since* demand has increased, we hired more staff. (เนื่องจากความต้องการเพิ่มขึ้น เราจึงจ้างคนเพิ่ม)

เงื่อนไข: if, unless, provided that, as long as

*Unless* the payment is received, the order will be canceled. (ถ้าไม่ได้รับชำระเงิน คำสั่งซื้อจะถูกยกเลิก)

การยอมรับ: although, even though, while, whereas

*Although* the price increased, sales remained strong. (แม้ราคาขึ้น ยอดขายยังแข็งแกร่ง)

สำคัญ: ใช้คำเชื่อมหน้าอนุประโยค (ประธาน+กริยา) ใช้คำบุพบทหน้าคำนาม
