Simple Present: habitual actions, facts, schedules

  • The train *departs* at 8 AM daily.
  • She *works* in the marketing department.
  • Present Continuous (be + V-ing): actions happening now or temporary

  • We *are currently reviewing* the proposal.
  • The company *is expanding* its operations.
  • Present Perfect (have/has + p.p.): past actions connected to now

  • The company *has announced* a new policy.
  • We *have worked* together for five years.
