代名詞

主格・目的格・所有格・再帰代名詞 — TOEFLで最も出題される分野の一つです。

主格代名詞は動詞の前に来ます：*She* manages the team.（彼女がチームを管理する。）

目的格代名詞は動詞・前置詞の後に来ます：Give it to *him*.（彼に渡して。）

所有格形容詞は名詞の前に来ます：*Their* proposal was accepted.（彼らの提案が受理された。）

再帰代名詞は主語＝目的語のときに使います：He introduced *himself*.（彼は自己紹介した。）

Examples

Each department should submit its report by Friday. — 각 부서는 금요일까지 보고서를 제출해야 한다.
The manager herself will conduct the interview. — 매니저 본인이 직접 면접을 진행할 것이다.
Those who have completed their training may leave early. — 교육을 완료한 사람들은 일찍 퇴근할 수 있다.

Watch for "its" vs "it's" and "their" vs "there" vs "they're" — these are common traps.
