ビジネス英語で使われる条件文（仮定法0・1・2・3型）を学びます。

仮定法0型： 一般的事実

  • If you heat water to 100°C, it *boils*.（水を100度に加熱すると沸騰する。）

    • 仮定法1型： 実現可能な未来

  • If the budget *is approved*, we *will hire* more staff.（予算が承認されたら、もっとスタッフを雇う。）

    • 仮定法2型： 非現実的・仮定的な現在

  • If we *had* more funding, we *would expand* overseas.（もっと資金があれば、海外に展開するのに。）

    • 仮定法3型： 非現実的な過去

  • If we *had started* earlier, we *would have finished* on time.（もっと早く始めていれば、間に合っただろう。）

    • 混合仮定法： 過去の条件 → 現在の結果

  • If they *had invested* last year, they *would be* wealthy now.（去年投資していれば、今は裕福だろう。）
