同等比較： as + 形容詞/副詞 + as

    • 比較級： -er / more + than

  • The new office is *larger than* the old one.（新しいオフィスは古いものより広い。）
  • This software is *more user-friendly than* the competitor's.（このソフトは競合他社のものより使いやすい。）

    • 最上級： the -est / the most

  • She is *the most experienced* candidate.（彼女が最も経験豊富な候補者だ。）

    • 二重比較級：

  • The *more* you practice, the *better* you become.（練習すればするほど上達する。）

    • よくある間違い：

  • more better ✗ → better ✓
  • most fastest ✗ → fastest ✓

    • Examples

    TOEFL Tip:

    Never use double comparatives (more better, most fastest). Use either -er/est or more/most.
