Kata Benda

Kata benda terhitung vs tidak terhitung, bentuk jamak, dan akhiran kata benda yang sering muncul di TOEFL.

Kata benda (noun) adalah kata yang mewakili orang, tempat, benda, atau ide.

Kata Benda Terhitung (Countable) bisa dihitung dan punya bentuk jamak:

  • book → books, child → children, person → people

    • Kata Benda Tidak Terhitung (Uncountable) tidak bisa dihitung:

  • information, advice, equipment, furniture, luggage

    • Akhiran Kata Benda yang Sering Muncul di TOEFL:

    Aturan Penting: Setelah artikel (a, an, the), kata ganti kepunyaan (my, his), dan kata sifat, harus ada kata benda.

    In Reading, when you see a blank after an adjective or article, the answer is usually a noun. Look for noun suffixes!
